Redwood Consignment FAQs
What is consignment?
Consignment is a service for sellers.
Commonly used business arrangement where one party, the consignor (you), provides goods to another party, the consignee (Redwood), to sell.
Consignment shopping is perfect for people who are looking to exchange the gently loved items they no longer use, make extra cash with ease, or simply buy premium brand name items for a fraction of a price.
Consignment Resale & Shopping
- During the consignment process, consignors bring in items that are evaluated before being accepted into the store to sell.
- Consignment shops take items that have little to no wear. This ensures you're purchasing something with a lot of life left.
- The consignment arrangement commonly gives consignors a chance to make an average of 30% to 50% cash back on the items sold.

Why are you called 'Redwood' Consignment?
Well, we are tree-huggers!
And...the Redwood tree holds much significance to how we will operate and live in our community, and partner with you.
Why Redwood?
Redwood trees represent longevity:
Redwoods live for thousands of years...some as old as dinosaurs!
Redwood trees take care of one another:
A redwood’s shallow but widespread roots help them survive by intertwining with the roots of other trees around them. Intertwined root systems provide stability during strong winds and floods - quite literally holding one another down, and safe.
Redwood trees provide clean air and home to plants & wildlife:
Entire ecosystems can live within redwood branches high off the ground.
Redwood trees are all about sustainability & protecting the environment:
Redwood trees are climate change heroes. Studies show that coastal redwoods capture more carbon dioxide (CO2) from our cars, trucks and power plants than any other tree on earth.
We look forward to chatting with you about the iconic Redwood trees that have inspired us to live better.
